Itinerary
Day 01: Madurai – Rameshwaram
Upon arrival at Madurai Meet arrival at Airport and drive to Madurai. Surrounded by the Kaveri water is 600 acres of island town enclosed within the seven walls of the gigantic Sri Ranganathaswamy temple, Meenakshi temple. And proceed to Rameshwaram. Overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 02: Rameshwaram – Sri Rangam – Arunachalam
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Rameswaram, to visit Sri Ramanathaswamy temple. The temple has 22 holly springs which are believed to have medicinal properties. After darshan, visit the Ghanthamathana Parvatham which provides fine views of the island and visit Dhanushkodi, which is one of the Tirthas on the island of Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, India. This is located beside the ghost town of Dhanushkodi at the easternmost tip of Rameswaram Island. Rama used his bow’s (Dhanush) end (Kodi) to break the bridge – Adam’s Bridge (hence the name). After that go to SriRangam,to visit Considered as the first among the 108 Divya Desams, a group of Vishnu temples, it is famous for the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, after that proceed to Arucachalam. And overnight Stay.
Day 03: Arunachalam – Kanchi
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Arunachalam ,to visit Arunachaleshwara temple in Tiruvannamalai is an ancient temple. Huge temple with a lot of deities inside. Place is known for people performing Girivalam or Parikrama of the mountain with 8 Shiva Linga temples around the hill. Each Shiva Linga represents navagraha and one can pray here for various benefits. Kanchipuram also known as Connemara, and overnight Stay.
Day 04: Kanchi – Mahabalipuram – Chennai
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Mahabalipuram ,to visit a complex of temples and shrines that overlooks the shore of the Bay of Bengal. It is located in Mahabalipuram Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram, Five Rathas (Pancha Rathas), Shore Temple and drop to Chennai Airport.
