Upon arrival at Mumbai Railway Station, our tour representative will warmly welcome you and assist with all boarding formalities for your overnight train journey to Rajkot, Gujarat. Board the train comfortably and enjoy a restful overnight journey as you head towards the land of the first Jyotirlinga.

On arrival at Rajkot Railway Station in the morning, our representative will transfer you to your hotel for a fresh start. After a hearty breakfast, drive to Dwarka — one of the four sacred Dhams of India (approximately 5 hours). Check in at your hotel and relax for a while.

In the evening, visit the mighty Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple — your first Jyotirlinga of the yatra. Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas, is located near Dwarka in Gujarat and is associated with the mythical Darukavana forest. Marvel at the awe-inspiring 25-metre-tall statue of Lord Shiva outside the temple. Later, visit the divine Dwarkadhish Temple and Gomti Ghat. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Somnath (approximately 5 hours) through the scenic coastal route of Gujarat. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Somnath Jyotirlinga is the first and most revered of all 12 Jyotirlingas, standing majestically on the western coast of Gujarat where it meets the Arabian Sea. This sacred shrine has been destroyed and rebuilt at least 17 times — a timeless symbol of faith and resilience.

In the evening, attend the evening Aarti at Somnath Temple and visit the sacred Triveni Sangam — the confluence of rivers Kapila, Hiran, and the mythical Saraswati. Do not miss the captivating Somnath Sound & Light Show at 8:00 PM, which dramatically narrates the incredible history of this temple.

Rise early for the auspicious Abhishek Puja at Somnath Temple — an incredibly divine experience that sets the tone for your entire yatra. After the puja, enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the railway station and board your train to Ujjain, the ancient city of Lord Mahakal. Enjoy an overnight train journey towards Madhya Pradesh.

After freshening up and breakfast, drive to Omkareshwar — the fourth Jyotirlinga, located on a serene island in the Narmada River shaped like the sacred syllable “Om.” This divine island houses two important temples — Omkareshwar (Jyotirlinga) and Amareshwar. Enjoy darshan, puja, and the peaceful atmosphere of the Narmada ghats. In the evening, drive back to Ujjain for overnight stay.

Wake up at 3:30 AM for one of the most extraordinary spiritual experiences of your life — the legendary Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. Mahakaleshwar is the only south-facing (Dakshinamukhi) Jyotirlinga — a distinction that gives it supreme importance in Shaiva traditions. The Bhasma Aarti, performed with sacred ash, is a ritual found nowhere else in the world.

Welcome to Haridwar — the “Gateway to the Gods,” where the holy Ganga descends from the Himalayas to the plains. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and rest after the overnight journey. In the evening, witness the world-famous Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri Ghat — a breathtaking ceremony where thousands of oil lamps are lit and set afloat on the sacred Ganga as Vedic hymns fill the evening air. This is a truly unforgettable spiritual experience. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight rest.

After an early breakfast, begin your breathtaking drive into the mighty Himalayas. Drive from Haridwar to Guptkashi (approximately 7–8 hours) through stunning mountain roads, passing through Rishikesh, Devprayag (confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers), Rudraprayag, and Agastyamuni. En route, stop at the ancient Ardhnarishwar Mahadev Temple in Guptkashi for a peaceful darshan. Check in at your hotel and enjoy dinner while the Himalayan peaks light up in the evening glow.

The most challenging and spiritually rewarding day of the entire yatra! Rise early and drive to Sonprayag (base point). From here, begin the 18 km trek to Kedarnath Temple at a majestic altitude of 3,583 metres above sea level — surrounded by snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Alternatively, you may opt for a helicopter service (advance booking required, subject to weather and availability).

Kedarnath Jyotirlinga is one of the holiest Jyotirlingas, situated in the Garhwal Himalayas and connected to the Pandavas of the Mahabharata. Lord Shiva is worshipped here in the form of a triangular-shaped rock, symbolizing the rear portion of the divine bull (Nandi). Attend the divine evening aarti at Kedarnath Temple — an ethereal experience you will cherish forever.

Health Note: The Kedarnath trek involves high altitude. We recommend a basic health check-up before the journey. Pony and palki (palanquin) services are available at additional cost for those who prefer not to trek.

Wake up early for the morning Pratah Darshan and Aarti at Kedarnath Temple — a deeply moving experience at sunrise with the magnificent Himalayan peaks as your backdrop. After darshan, begin your return trek (18 km) down to Sonprayag / Gaurikund. On arrival, our vehicle will transfer you to Rudraprayag — the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Arrive in Varanasi — one of the oldest living cities in the world and considered the holiest city in Hinduism. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and freshen up. In the evening, witness the world-renowned Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat — a spectacular ceremony of fire, flowers, and Vedic chanting on the banks of Mother Ganga. This is one of India’s most magnificent spiritual spectacles. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight rest.

Wake up early for a sacred sunrise boat ride on the Ganga, gliding past the ancient ghats as the city awakens with prayers and rituals. Then proceed to the magnificent Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga Temple — the seventh Jyotirlinga, located in the heart of Varanasi’s ancient lanes. According to Hindu belief, Kashi Vishwanath grants moksha (liberation) to all who die in this holy city, as Lord Shiva himself whispers the Tarak Mantra into the ears of the dying. Also visit Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple and Annapurna Devi Temple.

After lunch, transfer to Jasidih Railway Station and drive to Deoghar (Baidyanath Dham) in Jharkhand — home to the ninth Jyotirlinga. Overnight stay in Deoghar.

Begin the day with early morning darshan and Abhishek Puja at Baidyanath Dham — the ninth Jyotirlinga, revered as the “Temple of the Divine Physician.” Baidyanath Jyotirlinga is also one of the 52 Shakti Peethas — making it exceptionally rare and doubly sacred. Devotees believe that worshipping Baidyanath brings healing, good health, and freedom from suffering. Later, visit the nearby Basukinath Temple, considered the royal court of Lord Bholenath, just 42 km from Deoghar.

After lunch, transfer to the railway station for your train towards Kolkata and then onward to Chennai/Rameshwaram. Overnight train journey.

Arrive in Kolkata and board the connecting train to Chennai. A long but exciting overnight journey towards the southernmost tip of India. Arrive in Rameshwaram — the holiest city in Tamil Nadu, situated on Pamban Island connected to the mainland by the spectacular Pamban Bridge. On arrival, check in at your hotel near the famous Ramanathaswamy Temple. In the evening, take a sacred dip at Agni Theertham (the sea beach adjacent to the temple). Rest and prepare for tomorrow’s main darshan. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Rise at 4:00 AM for the most spiritually intense day of your South India Jyotirlinga darshan. Begin with the sacred 22 Kund Snan — a ritual bath in 22 holy wells inside the Ramanathaswamy Temple complex, each believed to wash away different types of sins. Then proceed for the main darshan of Rameshwaram Jyotirlinga — the eleventh Jyotirlinga, believed to have been established by Lord Rama himself to atone for the killing of Ravana (a Brahmin). The temple features the world’s longest temple corridors at 1,200 metres — a magnificent sight.

Later, visit Dhanushkodi — the dramatic southernmost tip of the island where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean. Also visit Gandamadana Parvatham. In the evening, drive to Madurai (approximately 4 hours) and visit the spectacular Meenakshi Amman Temple. Dinner and overnight stay.

After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to Madurai Railway Station to board the train to Pune, Maharashtra. This is an overnight journey that takes you from South India back to the Deccan Plateau — home to three Jyotirlingas (Bhimashankar, Trimbakeshwar, and Grishneshwar). Relax, reflect on your South India darshan, and enjoy the scenic journey northward.

Arrive in Pune — Maharashtra’s cultural capital. Transfer to your hotel and rest after the long overnight journey. Pune is a vibrant city offering a wonderful mix of history, culture, and modern amenities. The rest of the day is free for relaxation and leisure activities. You may explore the famous Shaniwar Wada fort, Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple, or simply enjoy the local cuisine of Pune. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

After an early breakfast, drive to Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga — the sixth Jyotirlinga, nestled in the lush Sahyadri Hills of the Western Ghats at approximately 3,250 feet altitude. The temple is set within the Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the rare Indian Giant Squirrel. According to mythology, Lord Shiva slew the demon Tripura here, taking the form of Bhimashankar. After a deeply peaceful darshan in this forested sanctuary, drive to Trimbakeshwar near Nashik. Check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Very early morning darshan at Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga — the eighth Jyotirlinga, uniquely featuring a triple-faced lingam representing Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh (Shiva). The temple is situated near the origin of the sacred Godavari River — considered the Ganga of the South. After darshan, proceed to explore Nashik — one of the four Kumbh Mela sites. Visit Panchavati, Sita Gufa, Kalaram Temple, and the Godavari Ghats.

In the afternoon, drive to Shirdi to visit the sacred Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir at Sai Dham. Evening aarti at Sai Baba Temple. Overnight stay in Shirdi.

Begin the day with the Kakad Aarti at Sai Dham Shirdi at 5:00 AM — one of the most sacred morning aartis in Maharashtra. After breakfast, drive to Shani Shingnapur — the legendary temple of Shani Dev, the god of justice, where devotees seek protection from Shani’s influence. Continue to Aurangabad for darshan at Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga — the twelfth and final Jyotirlinga of your yatra. This magnificent temple was built by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar and features stunning red rock Hemadpanthi architecture. It is located adjacent to the UNESCO World Heritage Ellora Caves.

After the completion of all 12 Jyotirlinga darshans, board your overnight train to Hyderabad for the concluding Jyotirlinga — Mallikarjuna.

Arrive in Hyderabad and drive directly to Srisailam (approximately 4–5 hours) through the scenic Nallamala Forest Reserve. Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga — the second Jyotirlinga — is known as the “Kailasa of the South.” This extraordinary shrine is the only pilgrimage site in India that is simultaneously a Jyotirlinga AND a Shakti Peetha, where Lord Shiva is worshipped as Mallikarjuna and Goddess Parvati as Bhramaramba.
