Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Bangalore and Drive to Lepakshi
- On your arrival in Bangalore, you will be picked up from the airport or railway station and driven to Lepakshi, which is approximately 120 km away from Bangalore.
- Check into your hotel in Lepakshi and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 02: Lepakshi Sightseeing
- After breakfast, start your day with a visit to the Lepakshi Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is famous for its hanging pillar and stunning architecture.
- Next, visit the Veerabhadra Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Veerabhadra, an avatar of Lord Shiva, and is famous for its intricate carvings and sculptures.
- Spend the rest of the day exploring the local markets and trying out local cuisine.
Day 03: Visit to Nandi Hills
- After breakfast, drive to Nandi Hills, which is approximately 70 km away from Lepakshi.
- Visit the Nandi Fort, Tipu’s Drop, and the Bhoganandishwara Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is famous for its Dravidian architecture.
- Spend the rest of the day exploring the local markets and trying out local cuisine.
Day 04: Departure
- After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to Bangalore.
- If time permits, you can visit the Bangalore Palace or the Lalbagh Botanical Garden before being dropped off at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
