Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Bengaluru
- Arrive in Bengaluru and drive to Lepakshi, which is approximately a 2-hour drive.
- Check in to your hotel and take some rest.
- In the evening, visit the Veerabhadra Temple, which is the main attraction in Lepakshi. The temple is known for its stunning architecture and intricate carvings.
Day 02: visit the Nandi Bull
- After breakfast, visit the Nandi Bull, which is a large monolithic sculpture of Nandi (the bull of Lord Shiva) located at the entrance of the Veerabhadra Temple.
- Visit the Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium, where you can shop for traditional handicrafts, such as Kalamkari textiles, wood carvings, and leather puppets.
- In the afternoon, visit the Lepakshi Temple Complex, which includes several smaller temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Vishnu, and Durga.
Day 03: visit the Gorantla Hanuman Temple
- Take a day trip to the nearby town of Hindupur, which is known for its traditional silk sarees and fabrics. Visit the local silk saree shops and witness the intricate process of weaving.
