Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Nellore
- Arrive in Nellore and check in to your hotel
- Visit the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, one of the most famous Hindu temples in the region with its beautiful architecture and religious significance.
- Spend some time exploring the Nellore Fort, a historic fort with stunning views of the city and the Pennar River
- Enjoy a traditional Andhra meal at a local restaurant
Day 02: Trip to Pulicat Lake
- Take a day trip to Pulicat Lake, a large saltwater lake that is a popular spot for birdwatching and boating.
- Visit the Sriharikota Island, India’s spaceport, where you can watch rocket launches and learn more about India’s space program.
- Return to Nellore in the evening and spend some time shopping for local handicrafts and souvenirs.
Day 03: Explore the Penchalakona Temple
- Explore the Penchalakona Temple, a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha, located in the beautiful Nallamala forest.
