Kailash Mansarovar Yatra from Chennai

Start from Chennai to Lucknow by flight, where our driver will warmly welcome you. From the airport, you’ll be
escorted to the designated meeting point for Kailash Yatris. Your luggage will be securely loaded onto the bus as you
prepare for the journey to Nepalgunj. Along the way, you’ll be provided with packed snacks to keep you refreshed.
Upon reaching Nepalgunj, savor a delightful dinner and unwind with an overnight stay.

Board your flight to Simikot, keeping in mind that weather conditions on this route may cause minor delays. Upon
arrival in Simikot, a driver will assist with your luggage. Accommodation will be provided in dormitory-style
guesthouses for the night. If weather conditions allow, a helicopter ride to Hilsa may be arranged on the same day;
otherwise, the journey will resume the following day.

Upon arriving at Simikot, our team will be there to assist you and arrange a helicopter ride to Hilsa. At Hilsa, you will
cross the river from the bridge to reach the Nepal-China border and then go to the immigration counter. A vehicle will
then take you to the China Immigration Building to complete the required formalities. Afterward, the journey
continues to Taklakot, where a mandatory check-in at the China Customs Building will be completed before heading
to your hotel. Once the check-in process is done, you can relax and enjoy your stay

Proceed to Mansarovar Lake, with your first stop at Rakshas Taal, where you can admire the stunning view of Mount
Kailash. Continue for reaching dormitory-style guesthouses at the Mansarovar lake. Take a holy bath and, if desired,
perform Puja or Havan at the sacred site. Complete the Lake Parikrama and enjoy an overnight stay at the
guesthouses.

Perform Puja at the sacred Mansarovar Lake before preparing for the journey to Darchen, where you’ll find shops,
hotels, and local markets. Begin the Parikrama (circumambulation) of Mount Kailash by proceeding to the Tarboche
Flagpole. From here, you can arrange support such as horses or ponies to assist with the trek.
Important Note: Be sure to carry essentials like water bags and other necessary items for the journey.
Witness the majestic south face of Mount Kailash and the Yam Dwar. The high altitude may cause exhaustion due to
low oxygen levels, so walk slowly and pace yourself. As you continue the trek, you’ll arrive at a small settlement with
buildings and a stunning view of the black mountain, showcasing the north face of Mount Kailash. Enjoy the serene
surroundings and spend the night at the guesthouses.

The morning will be breathtaking as you witness Mount Kailash bathed in a golden hue. Begin your trek to
Zuthulphuk, passing through the Dolma La Pass. Along the way, you will encounter Shiva Tsal, a sacred site where
devotees leave behind clothes, hair, or even a drop of blood as a symbol of releasing their pain, burdens, and life
struggles.
As you descend, take the opportunity for a Darshan at Gaurikund before continuing the trek to Zuthulphuk. night stay
at Zuthulphuk.

Explore the sacred caves and visit the temples, lovingly maintained by Tibetan devotees and helpers. This the final
Point of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra trek. After some time, you’ll arrive at the concluding point of the trek, where our
vehicles will be ready to transport you to Darchen. From there, the group will proceed to Taklakot for an overnight
stay.

Prepare to complete the immigration formalities and cross the China-Nepal border on foot. Once across, proceed to
Hilsa and continue your journey to Nepalgunj. From there, drive to Lucknow, where you will arrive and stay
overnight.
