Srisailam is popular for Srisailam Dam & Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The place enshrines by Lord Mallikarjuna by way of a linga covered by a three-hooded cobra. This traditional temple built in the Dravidian style with substantial systems and expansive courtyards is one of the finest samples of Vijayanagara structure.
