The trip then reaches Palitana where you can behold the Shri Digambar Jain Siddha Kshetra Shatrunjaya Giri and the Hindu temple of Khodiyar Mata. From there, you return to Ahmedabad and that’s where the second leg starts Patan and Palanpur. From there, we move on to Ambaji temples which is one of the 51 Shakti peethas located in Mount Abu and then move on to Udaipur. From here we visit Ranakpur Ji, one of the holiest Jain shrines and then to Nakodaji and finally cap off the tour at Jodhpur to complete a fulfilling journey not just for your body but also your soul.

Itinerary

Day 01: RAJKOT

Our Jain Pilgrimage begins from arrival at the Rajkot airport early in the morning, where you meet our representative. You will be shifted to your hotel. Move on to visit the Walston Museum and the Jain temples in Rajkot. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: RAJKOT – JUNAGARH (110 KMS APPROX)

Drive to Junagarh and visit the Jain Temple. Dharamshala is available at Jagmal Chowk. Sightsee the Inscriptions of Ashoka, Rajul Mahal, Nawab Ka Mahal, Museum, Mohabbat Makbara among the various tourist sites. Overnight stay at Junagarh Dharamshala.

Day 03: JUNAGARH

Today, we drive to Girnarji Taleti, the base of the mount in Junagarh. There are over 900 Hindu and Jain Temples spread over the mount. It is advised to start early in the morning because of over 4000 steps to cover. Overnight stay in Junagarh.

Day 04: JUNAGARH – PALITANA (275 KMS APPROX)

Shri Digambar Jain Siddha Kshetra Shatrunjaya Giri, Palitana Siddha Kshetra (Place of Salvation) After breakfast, drive down to Palitana and check into the hotel. Visit the Adeshwara Temple, Chaumukh Temple, Sri Vishal Jain Museum. Stay overnight in Palitana.

Day 05: PALITANA

This day, we travel to Talaja which is approximately 32 kms from Palitana. A hill alongside this town is marked by an eminent Jain Temple, 13 Buddhist canes carved into solid rock, the Hindu Temple of Khodiad Mata. You can also visit the house of Narsinh Mehta. Drive back to Palitana for an overnight stay.

Day 06: PALITANA – AHMEDABAD (205 KMS APPROX)

We complete the touring of all the temples along this site and move on to our next destination which is Ahmedabad by car. Reach there, check into the hotel and stay the night over.

Day 07: AHMEDABAD – PATAN – PALANPUR

Start for Patan early in the morning. Reach there and visit Panchasara Parshvanath Jain Derasar which is the largest of the more than 100 Jain temples in Patan and Kapur Mahetano Pado. After visiting the other temples, drive to Palanpur for an overnight stay.

Day 08: PALANPUR VIA AMBAJI – MOUNT ABU

Drive from Palanpur to Ambaji and visit the Ambaji Temple (one of the 51 Shakti Peeths of Hinduism) and the ancient Gabbar Temple. Millions of pilgrims visit the Ambaji Temple each year. See around the villages around Ambaji, then continue with the journey to Mount Abu and stay the night there.

Day 09: MOUNT ABU – UDAIPUR

We begin this day by visiting the Dilwara Temples in Mount Abu which are carved in marble and enshrine various Jain tirthankaras (saints). The Vimal Vasahi temple is the oldest temple and is dedicated to Adinath, the first of the Jain tirthankaras. Later, drive to Udaipur for an overnight stay.

Day 10: UDAIPUR

Start the day with a visit to Shri Rishabh Dev Digambar Jain Atishaya Kshetra, situated in the village Dhulev of district Udaipur. Stay overnight in Udaipur.

Day 11: UDAIPUR – RANAKPURJEE

Drive down from Udaipur to Raunakpurjee, which is considered to be one of the five holy places for the Jain community. Also, we will be visiting the Sun Temple dedicated to the Sun God. Overnight stay in Raunakpurjee.

Day 12: RANAKPURJEE – NAKODAJEE – JODHPUR

This day, we visit the Badi sadari Jain Temple, Falna and then drive towards Nakodajee Jain Temple. Later we start our approximate 110 kms drive to visit Jahaj Digambar Jain Temple and then another approximately 60 kms to the Jain temples in Osian village. Drive to Jodhpur for an overnight stay.

Day 13: JODHPUR

Fly from Jodhpur and board your return flight back home. Tour concludes here.
