OverView

On the first day, you will be welcomed at Delhi airport or Railway station and move to Haridwar. You willhave lunch and check in the hotel. In the evening you will visit Har Ki Pauri and be a part of Ganga Arti. The overnight stay will be at the hotel only. On the next day after breakfast, you will be moving to Joshimath. On the route, you will visit Deoprayag and Rudraprayag as well as Karnprayag. Reaching Joshimath, you will check into the hotel and will have an overnight stay at the hotel only. You can also visit Nav Durga temple here.

On the third day, you will visit Narsingh Temple and Shankaracharya Math in the morning and then will move to Badrinath, where after check in you will take some rest and then visit the temple of Lord Badrinath. The overnight stay will be at Hotel here only.

On the fourth day in the morning, you will have a bath at Tapt Kund and Darshan of Badrivishal. You will visit Mata temple, Bhimkund, Mana Temple, Vyas Gufa, and Charanpaduka. Once all the sightseeing is done, you will be driven back to Rudraprayag. After checking into the hotel, you will rest as the overnight stay will be here only.

Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar

Arrival Delhi Railway Station, Meet & Assist further drive to Hardwar, enroute lunch. Later drive to Hardwar transfer to your Hotel. Visit Har-ki-Pauri for Ganga Aarti in evening. Bqack to your hotel, Dinner & Night halt.

Day 02: Haridwar – Joshimath

Morning, drive straight to Joshimath enroute visit Deoprayag, Rudraprayag & Karnprayag. On Arr. Joshimath, Check in Hotel. Overnight stay.Joshimath: Adi Guru Shankaracharya, who came all the way from Kerels in the 8th Century A.D, perform penance under a tree here and after getting enlightenment, established a Math (religious centre), known as “Joshimath”. The name Joshimath is derived from it. Temple of Narsingh and Nav Durga are located here.

Day 03: Joshimath – Badrinath

Morning visit Narsingh Temple & Shankracharaya Math. Later drive to Badrinath, Check in Hotel. Visit Badrinath Temple for evening Aarti. Night halt at Badrinath.

Day 04: Badrinath – Rudraprayag

Early morning, pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakamal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sight seeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Later drive back to Rudraprayag. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay.Tapt Kund : Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to bathe before entering the Badrinath temple.Narad Kund : A recess in the river, near Tapt Kund, forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered.

Brahama Kapal : A flat platform on the bank of river Alaknanda. Hindus perform proppitiating rites for their deceased ancestors.

Sheshnetra : 1.5kms. away is a boulder having an impression of the legendary serpent, better known as the Sheshnag’s eye.

Charanpaduka : 3kms. away is a beautiful meadow where the footprint of Lord Vishnu is seen on a boulder.

Mata Murty Temple : Devoted to the mother of Sri Badrinathji. Other important temples include Sesh Netra Temple, Urvashi Temple and Charanpaduka.

Mana Village : Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.

Vasundhara : As the name suggests, vasundhara is a magnificent water fall. This place is 5 kms. from Badrinath out of which 2 kms. is motorable upto Mana.

Bhim Pul : On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge, lies over the roaring Saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.

Vyas Gufa (cave) : Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.

Day 05: Rudraprayag – Hardwar

Drive to Hardwar, enroute visit Rishikesh Local Sight Seeing (Ram Jhulla, Laxman Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Parmarth Niketan, Shivananda Ashram & Gita Kutir). Arr. Haridwar, transfer to Hotel. Night halt.

Day 06: Haridwar – Delhi

Morning visit Hardwar Local Sight Seeing. Later dep. to Delhi. On Arr. Delhi, Drop at Railway Station/Airport.
